Depending on the model chosen, this unit allows user to plug from 4 to 9 cameras into separate channels allowing user to view up to 9 separate camera locations on one monitor screen. To record, user simply plugs multiplexer into VCR. (Does not work with Digital Video Recorder). The greatest feature is that , depending on the model chosen, it allows the user to attach this unit to any VCR and record up 9 cameras simultaneously on one VCR tape. For playback, choose to view all 9 cameras locations at once, or playback any one particular camera for special observation needs.
